Cracken!

Well, for me the word 'Cracken' here originated from all my sisters. The word has direct meaning to something and it is not heard to understand. Well it can a bit sensitive, so please people don't take it too serious. Cracken came from the word Crack, and this particular Cracken word are not referring to the the Greek myth monster 'Kraken' but actually referring to 'but crack'.
Usually when you walk on the street, somebody or someone drop something on the floor. Then the person bend over try to pickup that some thing. And suddenly your eyes are burned from the unveiling but crack from the person.
" ohh! my eyes!" people usually say when u see the cracken. It can be both hilarious and disgusting. So please people keep your cracken to yourself.

15km Kuala Kangsar

Last sunday, 12 May 2013, went to the Sultan Azlan Shah Run in Kuala Kangsar. The run covers a total of 15km where the route are a little bit special because it covers the Jalan Istana where you can see clearly the Sultan palace and its environment. It is superbly beautiful. Lots of trees, minimal traffic, you can see the high Titiwangsa range.

It took me 2 hours and 7 minutes to complete the 15km. Well it not that fast, but yeah for my standard its good enough.
However, there are some bad incident happen during the run, that one of the participant fell down and died due to heart attack during the run. The medical response are not satisfying at all. They should response immediately.
I've finished the run, got the finisher medal (the main purpose of me join such event is actually to collect the medal hehe).

Next would be the 5km charity run at Mines, Serdang!

'Engsel'

Haha today is a little bit funny. Currently we have a DIY (Do It Yourself) project, which we intend to create something by our self instead of buying it (cheaper if u did it yourself). One of the component needed for this project is 'engsel' (in malay).
Engsel (malay) / Hinge (English)

We go to every hardware stores in nearby town trying to find the smallest engsel possible  Then suddenly, one of the shop, the owner or the worker is Chinese. So we try to speak in english. But then we do not know what engsel is in english.

ENGSEL
It took us a little bit of time to figure out what  ENGSEL is in english. Luckily, we have google translate. Browse google translate, and found out that engsel in english is called 'hinge'. HAHA. I feel so stupid right now.
Well my english are not that good after all..

So to kids or anybody out there, engsel in english is called hinge. Engsel pintu = Door hinge.

'Ethnocentrism'

The word 'ethnocentrism' that i am about to explain, came to me during the cultural anthropology course which are interesting subject but very impossible to score in finals. The word ethnocentrism here means that one is comparing other's culture based on his/her standard where his/her culture to be much more superior than others. But then we need to understand what is meant by the word 'culture'. Culture basically is people responses, belief, ideology in complex component consist of art, law, religion, ritual, politics, communication and so on. Therefore, referring back to ethnocentrism, people are more likely to judge other's belief or ideology to be non-sense comparing to their's.

I just realize on how big the issue was from the recent Malaysia General Election. People practice ethnocentrism best in political and religious issue, which both require a unique ideology and strong belief. Unlike law for example, are more to constitutional based which most country have the same law code. I would not say that ethnocentrism is bad. If you keep the negative judging to your self then it will be great, but if you use that judging content to diminish or to mock other people, then it would be inappropriate or sometimes considered stupid. Therefore as an advice, limit your ethnocentrism to yourself.

Iron-Man 3

I just watched the third sequel of the new Iron-Man 3. So this is my review on the movie.
The story line are good, but i would not say perfect since there are some part that we can predict quite well, cliche i would say. But the flow of the story-line are good in the sense that it is not boring and may bring certain surprise to viewer. Both character, Tony Stark and Iron Man are good in the story line with some improvement of the character (introduction to tony's anxiety panic attack) making a big boost for the characters rating compared to Iron-Man 2. However, the villain are quite a bit too much on the superpower. If you see properly, in Avengers, Hulk and Thor's mighty hammer are unable to severely damage the Iron Suit, but in Iron-Man 3, it seems that the suit are more easily damaged. The villain superpower (super healing and superhot touch) seems a little bit towards non-human type. If they may have only the super healing without the super hot touch, then it would be a bit better.

The other part that may be a bit unreal is the Mark-42. If you want to show how great the Mark 42 is, then dont show the other versions of the Iron-Suit. To me, after showing all the Iron-Suit at the last part, its a bit stupid thinking that why don't Tony Stark use that technique in the first place.

Lastly, there are still un-smoothed CGI (graphic animation) within the movie. Especially if you see at the destruction of Stark's house.
At the end of the movie credits, there are a short scene, a conversation between Stark and Banners (The Hulk). I cannot judge anything from the scene since i cannot see any relationship to the movie. But i can assure you that maybe Iron-Man will combine with The Incredible Hulk in the next movie.

My Personal Rating : 6.5/10

Election day!!

Today is the 13th Malaysian General Election which is held in the whole Malaysia from 8am this morning to 5pm this evening. I just finished my part, with dark blue ink on my finger.
From my observation (oww i am a good observer, well a bit too much actaully huhu), I can see that one thing that catch my eyes which is the quarrel part. If you see on media, politicians usually criticize or comment bad things about their opponents, and vice versa. But suddenly, during the voting day, everyone seems to be quite or speechless perhaps. No more bad comment on their opponents, no more quarrels, are they tired perhaps? haha. From that, i can interpret one thing about politics, that is, people will only comment or insult or criticize people when their opponents are far away from them. They wont dare to do these things upfront face-to-face with their opponents.
So its not 'the gentlemens way'. It a bit childish, which reflect negative attitude of these people.
What politicians should do is to came forth and meet your opponents face-to-face with both holding their swords and shield like a proper gladiator, but besides fighting they should debate openly to all. Ouhh, i would like to see that one in Malaysia.
Today's mid night, they will announce the result for the GE13. Hopefully, something good will happen for Malaysia.=)

The Boys

First off, we are taking this opportunity to also share with people on the events that we were recently involve just to show that we are people who commit to social life where we are not robots or undead zombies.
For the start, we would like to introduce 'the boys' from the same place where the craziness begins. Well if you observed carefully in picture, you are able to detect who is sane and who is not.
This picture was taken during the class photography session in our local university. Hope this picture tell you on how great the brotherhood within the boys.
